Dean’s List 2020/2021/2022

As someone who wasn’t even sure if I was prepared to go back to school as a mature student, receiving news that I had made the Dean’s List was one of life’s ‘big moments’ for me. At the time, I was working four days a week in a professional job, taking five courses, and was sleeping 4-5 hours a night, but seeing this letter made it all worth it. It felt like all my worries about going back to school at 22 had been washed away. One thing I realized at this time, was that I was not any more ‘intelligent’ this time around. Rather, I was doing something that I wanted more than anything; I was working towards becoming a teacher. When you’re doing something because you can see the results that it will have in your life and because you enjoy it, it makes accomplishing things so much easier.
